Since I`m still getting used to this blogging thing, I am a little behind on my postings. Yesterday I watched the movie Julie&Julia and realized I DO have to keep posting. So, I`m sorry about that, I promise I`ll get better at it! Lol.

Catching up on summer vacation, I want to share with you the great time I had in Miami. I met with wonderful friends from Brazil I hadn`t seen in a while and we had lots of fun. I also had time to relax and even read a whole book! (I have no memory whatsoever of the last time I was able to do that).

Last but not least, I got pampered in Miami just like I pamper all my clients. it felt really good to be on the other end for a change, and it was a great reminder of the importance of taking time for ourselves. Now I`m back and happy to be back because I love my job!

The first thing I want to share is my love for Santa Barbara and how grateful I am for being able to work in such beautiful places all the time. Just to give you the picture, I am going to tell you about my past week and how much fun I had. We had a Spa Party in Los Olivos and the amazing drive there was a reminder of that. Apart from the beautiful sights, I get to meet such interesting people. Lisa ( who by the way is a super elegant, classy lady!) organized this Spa Party to celebrate her husband`s 50th birthday, and it was a pleasure to be part of it.

Another great drive this week was to Refugio Ranch, where Mandy (the maid of honor) gathered fifteen girls to get pampered for her friend`s wedding. It was great to be among such happy, friendly people. The place made me feel connected to nature and I left Refugio completely energized.

Speaking of weddings, I would like to mention a Spa Party at the beautiful Canary Hotel last Saturday. It was very special to meet bride Rebecca in person, after seven months of careful planning. It is a very interesting thing for me to get to meet people after planning the Spa Parties over the phone, because I feel like I have known the person for a while, and it feels great to meet them in person.
